The TDT tuner from Akai is a compact and functional TDT2 digital terrestrial decoder designed to receive high-quality digital TV on any compatible television. It offers Full HD 1080p resolution for a sharp image on modern screens and uses LCD technology to display information on its front panel. It includes an HDMI connection for optimal digital audio and video transmission to the TV, as well as a USB port that allows both playback of multimedia files (for example MP3 and other supported formats) and recording of TV programs directly to an external storage device. It features a 7-day Electronic Program Guide (EPG) to easily check schedules and plan recordings, together with an event timer to schedule the start or end of recorded broadcasts. The Timeshift function lets you pause, rewind and resume live TV, giving you more control over what you watch.
