Its metal/steel housing in black provides strength and durability, while the compact design of approximately 28.6 x 11.2 x 2.5 cm and support for wall mounting make installation easy both on a desk and on vertical surfaces. The unit is fully plug and play, so it requires no configuration or extra software: simply connect the AC power cable to the mains (input range 100–240 V, 50 Hz, output 12 V / 1 A) and the devices to its RJ45 ports to get instant connectivity. It includes LED indicators per port and for overall status, allowing you to check network link and activity at a glance, and a convenient on/off switch that helps save energy when the device is not in use. With a switching capacity of 32 Gbit/s and a MAC address table of 8,000 entries, the TL-SG116 is ready to handle heavy traffic from multiple devices (computers, network printers, IP cameras, NAS, Smart TV and others) without bottlenecks in Gigabit networks.
