The Aruba Instant On 1830 switch from HPE is a network device designed for business environments requiring efficient and reliable connectivity. This desktop model features a compact and functional design, measuring 157 x 173 x 39.1 mm and weighing a light 0.77 kg, available in white or black to fit different spaces. It is equipped with 8 autosensing RJ-45 ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps, ensuring gigabit transfer speeds for stable and fast Ethernet LAN connections, allowing easy integration with standard RJ45 cables. Additionally, port 1 supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) class 3, up to 13W, enabling power supply to compatible devices without extra cables. The switch operates with an ARM Cortex-A9 processor at 800 MHz, includes 512 MB SDRAM and 256 MB flash memory, along with a 1.5 MB packet buffer, ensuring efficient network traffic management, low latency (under 5.2 microseconds at 100 Mbps and under 2.8 microseconds at 1000 Mbps) and a maximum throughput of 16 Gbps with a processing capacity of 11.9 million packets per second. The MAC address table can store up to 8,000 entries, facilitating management of multiple devices and reducing collisions in medium-sized networks.
