The TP-Link Tapo TC40 surveillance camcorder is a wireless IP security camera in white, designed to monitor indoors or outdoors thanks to its weather‑resistant IP65 rating, which protects it against dust and water splashes. It includes Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for easy installation without network cables and is powered by a 12 V adapter compatible with 100‑240 V, 50‑60 Hz mains. Its sensor records in Full HD 1920 x 1080 px (1080p), using the H.264 codec to optimise bandwidth and storage space, while the night vision function delivers clear images in low‑light conditions. It features tilt control to adjust the viewing angle, a status LED indicator and a reset button for quick configuration resets. For local storage, it integrates a MicroSD (TransFlash) card slot up to 512 GB and is compatible with HDD recording solutions, offering several options to keep video recordings. The camera includes a built‑in microphone and integrated speakers, enabling two‑way audio to listen and talk through the camera from the mobile app, making remote monitoring of people, pets or entrances easier.
