Compatible with 2.5" and 3.5" SATA hard drives using SATA I 1.5 Gb/s, SATA II 3 Gb/s, and SATA III 6 Gb/s specifications, this adapter supports advanced protocols like UASP that optimize transfer performance, especially recommended for hybrid drives. Regarding capacity, it supports drives over 2TB on GPT-supported systems and up to 2TB on others, accommodating mechanical drives with speeds of 4200, 5400, and 7200 RPM.
