The motherboard Asus PRIME Z790-P WIFI is designed for modern desktop PCs based on Intel processors, integrating the advanced Intel Z790 Express chipset and an LGA1700 socket compatible with Intel Core i3, i5, i7, i9, Intel Celeron and Intel Pentium Gold CPUs, making it a solid base both for everyday builds and demanding workstations. Its ATX form factor (approx. 30.5 x 23.4 cm) fits most standard cases, while the black design combines plastic and aluminium heatsinks to improve cooling of critical areas. For memory it includes DDR5 DIMM slots supporting up to 128 GB and very high frequencies, including profiles up to 7000 MHz (with declared support for 4800, 5200, 5600, 6000, 6200, 6400, 6600, 6800 and 7200 MHz), allowing full use of next‑gen RAM bandwidth and stability. Storage offers hybrid HDD/SSD connectivity with several SATA ports and up to 3 M.2 slots for high‑speed SSDs, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 to combine performance and data protection. Expansion for graphics and add‑in cards is covered by several PCI Express (x16) slots plus PCI Express 3.0 (x1), suitable for GPUs, capture cards or controllers.
