With a particularly robust casing (IP54), the new FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor (Edition International) has been specially designed for outdoor use. Thanks to Wi-Fi 6 standard (2 x 2 MIMO) and data transfer rates up to 3000 Mbit/s, it ensures fast and stable connections in the garden, on the terrace or on the balcony. Power over Ethernet (PoE+) technology also makes this repeater the ideal solution for indoor environments, where it extends the Wi-Fi network in places where power outlets are not available. With gigabit LAN, convenient Mesh system, regular updates, 5-year warranty and the proven FRITZ!OS operating system, the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor is the smart integration for complex Wi-Fi environments, both outdoors and indoors.
Durable and easy to configure

The FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor stands out for its compact IP54 certified casing, making it wind and weather resistant. The two included mounts, white for outdoor use and red for indoor use, allow the device to be positioned easily and stably in the most suitable spot. The included flat LAN cable easily passes through many types of windows and is therefore ideal for quick outdoor installation. For connection to the FRITZ!Box, the repeater always uses the LAN connection when used outdoors. A LAN cable is therefore required and the FRITZ!Box is connected via Powerline, another repeater or directly to the PoE power supply of the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor.
Maximum flexibility indoors with PoE

The FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE+) technology, which allows the repeater to be installed at any desired location, for example in the hallway or in parts of the building furthest from the FRITZ!Box. The included PoE+ power supply also features a gigabit LAN port for integration into the local network or for connecting wired devices. Indoors, the repeater can be connected to the FRITZ!Box via LAN or Wi-Fi connection. The FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor is therefore a versatile device perfect for complex Wi-Fi scenarios in the home or office local network.

In the Mesh network with a FRITZ!Box, the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor ensures seamless integration into the local network with smart repeating and intelligent bandwidth distribution to all connected devices. This enables a stable and fast connection even with many devices active simultaneously. To add more devices to the Wi-Fi Mesh network, simply press the button on the device.
